Cross Creek Linear Park will create a green beltway that connects some of the best points of interest in our community.

Imagine walking along Cross Creek- by the Kyle House, through Cross Creek Park, along Maiden Lane, to the city’s new Festival Park. Enjoy the sites and sounds of peaceful beauty, picnics, walkers, fountains, and downtown revitalization- all following the historic greenway along the creek

Our goal is to improve Fayetteville via our area’s water resources, to enhance urban design by protecting green space and greenways, to protect our rivers and streams from undue development and destruction, and to enhance downtown revitalization with the development of Cross Creek Linear Park.

The linear park plan serves as a major link in our stream way development, and the starting point for utilizing the 10 major streams that enrich our area. It’s improvements would beautify Cross Creek, make the creek accessible to Fayetteville’s residents and visitors, and re-establish the historical and cultural heritage of Fayetteville.

We estimate the cost of the entire project to be two million dollars. As donations and fundraising continue to grow the project will be completed over four phases.
